GROUNDSMAN / HANDYMAN / DRIVER

 This is a full time position, flexible working between 6.30am and 6.30pm term time and 9am to 3.30pm during school holidays.  We wish to appoint a hardworking enthusiastic individual who must demonstrate at all times a commitment to the aims of the school, an awareness of health and safety issues, knowledge of working with children and being aware of their needs and a responsibility to continual self development. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to provide an efficient support service to the site users, including porterage, general maintenance work, painting, decorating and gardening is essential as is a clean driving license with the ability to drive a 17 seat mini bus.  Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS Disclosure.  Salary is £17,000 per annum.  Applicants should submit a CV to:

Maths and Boys Games Teacher KS3 / KS4

We are looking for a well-qualified candidate who will join our enthusiastic, supportive and successful school as a Curriculum Support Technician (Science Specialism) 35 hours per week, 36 weeks per year.  This post will be primarily responsible for the provision of support to the Science Faculty.  The successful candidate will have:-

The ideal candidate will have sufficient knowledge and experience of Science and be able to work across all 3 sciences, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in order to carry out these duties.  The post covers the age range 9 – 16.  Previous experience in a school environment working alongside young people is preferable but not essential. Chinese Speaking Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a fluent speaker of Chinese (Mandarin) and English to join our enthusiastic, supportive and successful school as a Teaching Assistant in Junior School working up to 35 hours per week, 36 weeks per year.  This post will be primarily responsible for the provision of support to Chinese pupils studying at Westbourne School.  The post covers the age range 4 – 11.  Previous experience in a school environment working alongside young people is preferable but not essential.
